Discover some of Tasmania’s best kept secrets and destinations as we arrive in Devonport on the Spirit of Tasmania. There is so much to see and do as we explore this amazing Island. We visit Stanley and The Nut, tour the historic Highfield House and experience the Wild Tarkine Region on the Arthur River Cruise. Cradle Mountain National Park is beautiful and not to be missed. Take a relaxing ride on the West Coast Wilderness Railway through cool temperate rainforest and join World Heritage Cruises for a cruise into the Gordon River after viewing the “Hells Gates” and taking a walk in Sarah Island. The Wall in the Wilderness at Derwent Bridge is a unique display of craftsmanship. We have a guided tour around Hobart. Our full day adventure explores Bruny Island and its spectacular landscapes and gourmet local produce. The Penal Settlement of Port Arthur depicts a life of hopelessness and misery. Also included in our tour are Richmond, Swansea, Bicheno and East Coast Natureworld, Campbell Town, Ross (A Garrison Town), Evandale (known for the Penny Farthing Race) and Launceston. We head to Scottsdale and Legerwood where we see the sculptured trees then Bridestow Estate Lavender Farm. Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Museum brings back memories of the rescue of the two mine workers trapped underground in 2006. We visit Cataract Gorge. Travelling to Deloraine time is spent at Yarns: Artwork in silk and
then Ashgrove Cheeses, House Of Anvers Chocolate Factory and Mersey Bluff before reboarding the Spirit of Tasmania.
